Welcome! The Fred B. Miller Regional Envirothon is sponsored by the Duval Soil and Water Conservation District. Their educational programs support science education throughout Northeast Florida! Their Facebook page is a great source of information about our local events.
What is Envirothon? The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental problem-solving competition for high school-aged students in the United States and Canada. Participating teams complete training and testing in five natural resource categories: soils and land use, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and current environmental issues.
Students from the following Northeast Florida counties are invited to compete: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns. The winner of our regional Envirothon goes on to represent us at the state level at the Florida Envirothon and possibly the national level competition. |
The 2025 regional competition will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at Tree Hill Nature Center. For more information about registering your team to complete, contact Joyce Miller at [email protected]
