What to Expect at the Regional Competition

Stations

On the day of the competition, students will rotate among six different stations, each typically lasting 25 minutes:

1. Current Issue (test)
2. Current Issue (speech)
3. Forestry
4. Wildlife
5. Aquatic Ecology
6. Soil/Land Use

A few useful reminders:

• Students may not have any study materials or phones with them during the competition.
• For the Current Issue speech station, students may use note cards.  However, those must be turned in to the judges prior to the start of the first station, in an envelop clearly marked with both school and team name.
